BBC Radio 4 Appeal – Kate Humble
Our International charity of choice PHASE Worldwide are excited to announce that there will be a PHASE Worldwide BBC Radio 4 Appeal on 5th April.
Voiced by presenter and author Kate Humble*, the appeal will follow the story of Jau, a farmer in the Far West of Nepal who is leading the fight against hunger for her family and community. The appeal will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday 5th April at 7.54am and 9.25pm and Thursday 9th April at 3.27pm. The broadcast will also be available online on the BBC Radio 4 Appeal website.
*Kate Humble is an English television presenter and narrator, mainly working for the BBC, specialising in wildlife and science programmes. She served as President of the RSPB from 2009 until 2013 and is an ambassador for the UK walking charity Living Streets.
