Christmas spirit spread through Random Acts of Kindness
Staff and flexible workers at Nicholas Associates Group are in with the chance of receiving a surprise gift from Group Chairman Nick Cragg this Christmas, through his Random Acts of Kindness.
Rotherham entrepreneur Nick, and is wife Marie, have been so inspired by Random Acts of Kindness, an international campaign created to spread happiness and promote the value of giving to others, that they came up with their own personal initiative.
Every day throughout December they will randomly draw names from a list compiled of Nicholas Associates Group staff and flexible workers and those people will each receive a gift. Recipients will be encouraged to keep the ‘giving’ going by doing something for someone else; whether that’s paying a compliment, buying a gift or giving their time and expertise.
Nick said, “As Aesop wrote in the 7th Century BC, ‘No act of Kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted’. I work with wonderful people and our team at Nicholas Associates Group does an amazing job helping others find their perfect career role, or simply sourcing work for them to earn a living. And our flexible workforce is essential for keeping businesses across the UK operating through the peaks of fluctuating demand, especially at this time of year.”
The Random Acts of Kindness campaign is about little moments that have a big impact, and is designed to create a viral movement of making people feel so good that they inspire others to spread kindness.
