This opportunity is to work for our Stafforce Training division
Job Purpose: To generate new and profitable opportunities for Stafforce Training supply with prospective companies across allocated geographical territories, whilst meeting/exceeding agreed financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead generation for Stafforce Training team through strategic canvassing (targets to be agreed to include qualified visits booked, client conversions, annual target (£) and Group/Team/Divisional targets as defined by Line Manager)
- To minimise aged debt by ensuring credit checks are completed in line with Company policy and T&Cs are issued to all customers
- To self-generate visits and sales opportunities with prospective companies via telesales and marketing activities
- To forward tender/PQQ opportunities to the Line Manager and agree strategy for completion
- To generate “ad hoc” sales opportunities through review of local newspapers and local business publications, internet research, lead generation and attending recruitment job fairs/business meetings and seminars
- To participate in regional and/or branch sales activities where appropriate to include sales days, network meetings and sales competitions
- Ensure all activity is recorded on the CRM system including visit reports, proposals etc
- To complete Company reports and requests for information within agreed timescales
- To ensure the timely dispatch of all sales letters and materials to prospective accounts, ensuring all documentation meets Company standards
- Attend meetings and advise on any sales initiatives as requested by the Line Manager
- To work in accordance with the documented procedures and instructions as contained in the Company’s Quality Operating Procedures Manual
- To fully understand the legal requirements of training, e.g. Terms of Business, Terms of Engagement, credit limits etc
Skill, Knowledge & Qualifications required:
- Business development experience, proven track record of target achievement
- Ability to forge business relationships
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal
- Innovative and creative, with a continuous improvement approach
- Good IT skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise
- Excel within a fast-paced environment
