Nicholas Associates Group Achieves ISO 14001 Environmental Management Accreditation
We’re proud to share that we have achieved our ISO 14001 Environmental Management Accreditation, marking a significant milestone that reinforces our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
Sustainability remains a key focus for us as we continue to expand in the Renewables and Energy sector. Achieving ISO 14001 demonstrates our proactive approach to assessing and reducing our environmental impact, ensuring we lead by example in the industries we serve.
ISO 14001 provides a structured framework for identifying, managing, and continuously improving environmental performance. This certification marks the beginning of further efforts to embed more sustainable practices across all areas of our Group.
A key element of our sustainability strategy is our partnership with GreenTheUK. Through this initiative, a tree is planted in the UK for every placement made and project won. This initiative ensures that with every success, our Group contributes to the restoration of natural habitats and biodiversity across the country.
In addition to tree planting, we remain committed to reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and implementing sustainable practices across our offices.
Sustainability is a collective effort, and we encourage all employees to take an active role in driving positive environmental change. Through the NA Together Forum, colleagues are invited to share ideas and suggestions to further improve our environmental impact. Whether it’s reducing plastic use, enhancing recycling programs, or promoting greener commuting options, every contribution makes a difference.
Our Group CEO, Paul Smith, is delighted with the achievement and what it means to our Group: “We are incredibly proud to have secured ISO 14001 accreditation, which reflects our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. As we continue to expand into the Renewables and Energy sector, we recognise the importance of leading by example. This certification is just the beginning, and we will continue to embed sustainable practices across all areas of our business.”
As part of our ongoing partnership with Greentheuk, we proudly planted 4,000 trees during 2023–24. Click here to read the full case study.
